so i'm coming to portland for a visit. july 30-august 12. i haven't actually bought my ticket yet (i get paid tomorrow and can't buy the ticket until then), so i guess this is a little premature, but still.
i think i've figured out a way to do my field work in vancouver, bc. i'll find out if that's really true when i visit there july 28 and 29. i hope to god it works. true, it isn't portland, but this city isn't healthy for me. i need to be on the west coast of the north american continent. stat.

it is pretty rad
the awesome: trees, mountains, ocean, lots of cool outdoorsy shit to do, bike friendly
the lame: burritos there suck, canada has a law against caffeine in non-brown beverages (what the shit is that shit)
also, i'm stealing your portland sorta, so maybe you should come to IN instead (not really, portland is better)
wait, what? so mt dew has no caffeine? jesus fucking lord.
and yes, liz, jonny is stealing SOME of portland for a few days. but we'll be back and ready to rock.
