In mixed company, when I don't feel like making conversation, I sit back and wait for someone to say something stupid so that I can correct them. Is there a name for this condition?

the Decent Person's Affliction? i don't know. everyone's an animal.
in similar situations, i sit there and add up the ways i hate everyone in the room. give myself reasons to feel superior. wish that i could somehow get the point across that i DON'T GIVE A FUCK about anything associated with them. decide that the best way to do so is to clam up and mope. HA.
